That’s why Onsurity built a platform with multiple tiers. If you want to upgrade your Onsurity membership you can do so easily through the Onsurity app.

We give you complete flexibility to pick the plan you want. Your employer might have signed up for an Opal plan for you because that fits their budget. However, you can choose to upgrade your Onsurity membership to Ruby or Jade by paying for the difference. It is completely up to you!  

Please note that up-gradation of membership is only allowed if done before activation of any plan (except Topaz). Once your plan is activated, you will not be able to upgrade.  

The benefit of Onsurity is that you pick a plan that suits your need. If you have a large family, you might want to upgrade your Onsurity membership to a plan with higher healthcare benefits. That way, all of you can take advantage of our healthcare membership and its benefit like teleconsultation, insurance and discounts on orders.  

How to Upgrade your Onsurity membership?

Upgrading your Onsurity membership is a simple process through the Onsurity app. If you haven’t yet, you should download the app. It is available for both Android and iOS and gives you access to all these great features, and more. 

At the time of activation of your membership, it only takes two minutes to upgrade your Onsurity membership. To do so, open the Onsurity App. On the home page, you should see a blue ‘Membership Purchase’ option at the top of the screen. Then tap the ‘Explore Plans’ option to see your options.  

The next screen is our “plan page” screen. It gives you a quick summary of the plans and benefits. We believe in transparency, which is why we clearly state how much you will pay for the plan. This is only for you, if you want to add family it will cost extra. Have a look at all the plans on offer. Once you have decided which one is right for you, click on proceed. 

Once you select your plan, you can also choose to add family members if you want. This is optional. We give you complete flexibility to add your children, spouse, siblings, parents and in-laws (terms & conditions apply) to your membership at any time.  

The next step is to pay for your plan. Here again, you will see a breakdown of the cost, including with GST. That way, you know exactly how much you are paying. Once you have paid, congrats! You have successfully managed to upgrade your Onsurity membership  

No matter what plan you choose, you can benefit from choosing to upgrade your Onsurity membership. Here’s a quick summary of some of them: 

• Bigger discounts: Medicines are not cheap. But that doesn’t mean you still can’t save. With Onsurity, you can get discounts on your medicine orders depending on the plan you choose. The same applies to health checkups.  
• More Free Teleconsultations: The higher your membership, the more free doctor teleconsultations you will get access to. That way, no health scare is too small to ignore.  
• Higher Sum Assured: The more upgraded memberships you have, the better will be the limit for Sum Insured under the health insurance offered to the members. This will give you peace of mind when it comes to hospitalization costs.
