The Onsurity story
Onsurity started in Bengaluru in 2020 with a single mission: to democratise healthcare. Insurers set minimum headcounts that shut small teams out, and ask for a full year's premium upfront. The people who need cover most are the ones locked out of it.
So we built the monthly healthcare membership — a small, predictable fee per employee that works for a team of three as well as a team of three thousand. One membership now carries doctor consults, mental health support, health check-ups, discounted medicines, dental, fitness, personal accident and term life.
The work is nowhere near finished. Most of India's small businesses still offer their teams nothing at all.
